Revelation 5 The Passion Translation (TPT)The Unopened Scroll5 And I saw that the one seated on the throne was holding in his right hand an unopened scroll with writing on the inside and on the outside,[a] and it was sealed with seven seals. 2 Then I saw an incredibly powerful angel[b] proclaiming with a great, loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break[c] its seven seals?” 3 But no person could be found, living or dead, in all of creation[d]—no one was worthy to open the scroll and read its contents. 4 So I broke down weeping with intense sorrow, because there was found no one worthy to break open the scroll and read its contents.[e]
5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping. Look! The mighty Lion of Judah’s tribe,[f] the root of David—he has conquered! He is the worthy one who can open the scroll and its seven seals.” 6 Then I saw a young Lamb[g] standing in the middle of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders. He appeared to have been slaughtered but was now alive![h] He had seven horns[i] and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out to the ends of the earth. 7 I saw the young Lamb approach the throne and receive the scroll from the right hand of the one who sat there. 8 And when the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures saw the Lamb had taken the scroll, they fell facedown at the feet of the Lamb and worshiped him. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls brimming full of sweet fragrant incense—which are the prayers of God’s holy lovers. 9 And they were all singing this new song of praise to the Lamb: “Because you were slaughtered for us, you are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals. Your blood was the price paid to redeem us. You purchased us to bring us to God out of every tribe, language, people group, and nation. 10 You have chosen us to serve our God and formed us into a kingdom of priests who reign[j] on the earth.” Angelic Worship of the Lamb11 Then I looked, and I heard the voices of myriads of angels in circles around the throne, as well as the voices of the living creatures and the elders—myriads and myriads![k] 12 And as I watched, all of them were singing with thunderous voices: “Worthy is Christ the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive great power and might, wealth and wisdom, and honor, glory, and praise!” 13 Then every living being joined the angelic choir. Every creature in heaven and on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and everything in them, were worshiping with one voice, saying: “Praise, honor, glory, and dominion be to God-Enthroned and to Christ the Lamb forever and ever!” 14 Then the four living creatures responded: “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders threw themselves facedown to the ground and worshiped.[l] Footnotes:

To Theophilus,[a] the lover of God.
I write to you again, my dear friend, to give you further details[b] about the life of our Lord Jesus and all the things that he did and taught.[c] 2 Just before he ascended into heaven, he left instructions[d] for the apostles he had chosen by the Holy Spirit.[e] 3 After the sufferings of his cross, Jesus appeared alive many times[f] to these same apostles over a forty-day period.[g] Jesus proved to them with many convincing signs that he had been resurrected.[h] During these encounters, he taught them the truths of God’s kingdom realm 4 and shared meals with them.[i] Jesus instructed them, “Don’t leave Jerusalem, but wait here until you receive the gift I told you about, the gift the Father has promised. 5 For John baptized you in water, but in a few days from now you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit!”[j] 6 Every time they were gathered together, they asked Jesus, “Lord, is it the time now for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?” 7 He answered, “The Father is the one who sets the fixed dates and the times of their fulfillment. You are not permitted to know the timing of all that he has prepared by his own authority. 8 But I promise you this—the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with power.[k] And you will be my messengers[l] to Jerusalem, throughout Judea, the distant provinces[m]--even to the remotest places on earth!”[n] 9 Right after he spoke those words, the disciples saw Jesus lifted into the sky and disappear into a cloud![o] 10 As they stared into the sky, watching Jesus ascend, two men in white robes suddenly appeared beside them. 11 They told the startled disciples, “Galileans, why are you staring up into the sky? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but he will come back the same way that you saw him ascend.” A New Apostle Is Chosen 12 The disciples left the Mount of Olives and returned to Jerusalem, less than a mile away.[p] 13–14 Arriving there, they went into a large second-floor room to pray.[q] Those present were Peter, John, Jacob, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, Jacob (the son of Alpheus), Simon (the zealot), Judas (the son of Jacob), and a number of women, including Mary, Jesus’ mother. His brothers[r] were there as well. All of them were united in prayer, gripped with one passion,[s] interceding night and day. 15 During this time Peter stood up among the 120 believers who were gathered and said, 16 “Fellow believers,[t] the Scripture David prophesied by the Holy Spirit concerning Judas had to be fulfilled.[u] Judas betrayed our Lord Jesus and led the mob to the garden to arrest him. 17 He was one of us, and he was chosen to be an apostle just as we were.[v] 18 He earned the wages of his sin,[w] for he fell headfirst, and his belly split open, spilling his intestines on the ground. 19 Everyone in Jerusalem knows what happened to him. That’s why the field where he died is called in Aramaic[x] ‘Haqel Dama,’ that is, ‘The Bloody Field.’ 20 For it is written in the Psalms: ‘Let his house be deserted and become a wasteland. No one will live there.’[y] And also: ‘Let another take his ministry.’[z] 21 “So then, we must choose his replacement from among those who have been with us from the very beginning,[aa] 22 from John’s baptism until Jesus’ ascension. And, like us, he must be a witness of his resurrection.” 23 They proposed two candidates: Joseph, who is also called Barsabbas the Just, and Matthias.[ab] 24 They all prayed, “Lord Yahweh,[ac] you know the heart of every man.[ad] Please give us clear revelation to know which of these two men you have chosen 25 to be an apostle and take Judas’ place because he renounced his apostleship to go where he belonged.”[ae] 26 They cast lots[af] and determined that Matthias was the Lord’s choice, so he was added to the eleven apostles. Our Living Hope From Peter, an apostle of Jesus the Anointed One, to the chosen ones[a] who have been scattered abroad like “seed” into the nations living as refugees,[b] to those living in Pontus,[c] Galatia, Cappadocia,[d] and throughout the Roman provinces of Asia and Bithynia.[e] 2 You are not forgotten, for you have been chosen and destined by Father God. The Holy Spirit has set you apart to be God’s holy ones, obedient followers of Jesus Christ who have been gloriously sprinkled with his blood. May God’s delightful grace and peace cascade over you many times over![f] 3 Celebrate with praises the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has shown us his extravagant mercy. For his fountain of mercy has given us a new life—we are reborn[g] to experience a living, energetic hope[h] through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.[i] 4 We are reborn into a perfect inheritance[j] that can never perish, never be defiled, and never diminish. It is promised and preserved forever in the heavenly realm for you![k] 5 Through our faith, the mighty power of God constantly guards[l] us until our full salvation[m] is ready to be revealed[n] in the last time. 6 May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy,[o] even though lately you’ve had to put up with the grief of many trials.[p] 7 But these only reveal the sterling core[q] of your faith, which is far more valuable than gold that perishes, for even gold is refined by fire. Your authentic faith will result in even more praise, glory, and honor when Jesus the Anointed One is revealed.[r] 8 You love him passionately although you did not see him, but through believing in him you are saturated with an ecstatic joy, indescribably sublime and immersed in glory.[s] 9 For you are reaping the harvest of your faith—the full salvation promised you—your souls’ victory![t] Overcoming Grace10 This salvation was the focus of the prophets who prophesied of this outpouring of grace that was destined for you. They made a careful search and investigation of the meaning of their God-given prophecies 11 as they probed into the mysteries of who would fulfill them and the time period when it would all take place. The Spirit of the Anointed One was in them[u] and was pointing prophetically to the sufferings that Christ was destined to suffer and the glories that would be released afterward. 12 God revealed to the prophets that their ministry was not for their own benefit[v] but for yours. And now, you have heard these things from the evangelists[w] who preached the gospel to you through the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—the gospel containing wonderful mysteries that even the angels long to get a glimpse of.[x] A Call to Holiness 13 So then, prepare your hearts and minds for action![y] Stay alert and fix your hope firmly on the marvelous grace that is coming to you. For when Jesus Christ is unveiled,[z] a greater measure of grace will be released to you. 14 As God’s obedient children, never again shape your lives by the desires that you followed when you didn’t know better. 15 Instead, shape your lives to become like the Holy One who called you. 16 For Scripture says: “You are to be holy, because I am holy.”[aa] 17 Since you call on him as your heavenly Father, the impartial Judge who judges according to each one’s works,[ab] live each day with holy awe and reverence throughout your time on earth.[ac] 18 For you know that your lives were ransomed once and for all from the empty and futile way of life handed down from generation to generation. It was not a ransom payment of silver and gold, which eventually perishes, 19 but the precious blood of Christ—who like a spotless, unblemished lamb was sacrificed for us.[ad] 20 This was part of God’s plan, for he was chosen and destined for this before the foundation of the earth was laid,[ae] but he has been made manifest in these last days for you. 21 It is through him that you now believe in God,[af] who raised him from the dead and glorified him,[ag] so that you would fasten your faith and hope in God alone. Love and Purity22 Now, because of your obedience to the truth,[ah] you have purified your very souls, and this empowers you to be full of love for your fellow believers. So express this sincere love toward one another passionately and with a pure heart.[ai] 23 For through the eternal and living Word of God[aj] you have been born again. And this “seed” that he planted within you can never be destroyed but will live and grow inside of you forever. For: 24 Human beings[ak] are frail and temporary, like grass, and the glory of man fleeting like blossoms of the field.[al] The grass dries and withers and the flowers fall off, 25 but the Word of the Lord endures forever![am] And this is the Word[an] that was announced to you! Dear friends in Philippi, 1–2 My name is Paul and I’m joined by Timothy,[a] both of us servants of Jesus, the Anointed One. We write this letter to all his devoted followers in your city, including your pastors,[b] and to all the servant-leaders[c] of the church. May the blessings of divine grace and supernatural peace that flow from God our wonderful Father, and our Messiah, the Lord Jesus, be upon your lives. Paul Prays for the Philippians3–4 My prayers for you are full of praise to God as I give him thanks for you with great joy! I’m so grateful for our union 5 and our enduring partnership that began the first time I presented to you the gospel. 6 I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this glorious work[d] in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you[e] and will put his finishing touches to it until the unveiling[f] of our Lord Jesus Christ! 7 It’s no wonder I pray with such confidence, since you have a permanent place in my heart![g] You have remained partners with me in the wonderful grace of God even though I’m here in chains for standing up for the truth of the gospel.[h] 8 Only God knows how much I dearly love you with the tender affection[i] of Jesus, the Anointed One. 9 I continue to pray for your love to grow and increase beyond measure, bringing you into the rich revelation of spiritual insight[j] in all things. 10 This will enable you to choose[k] the most excellent way of all[l]—becoming pure and without offense until the unveiling of Christ.[m] 11 And you will be filled completely with the fruits of righteousness[n] that are found in Jesus, the Anointed One—bringing great praise and glory to God! Paul’s Imprisonment 12 I want you to know, dear ones,[o] what has happened to me has not hindered, but helped my ministry of preaching the gospel, causing it to expand and spread to many people. 13 For now the elite Roman guards and government officials[p] overseeing my imprisonment have plainly recognized that I am here because of my love for the Anointed One. 14 And what I’m going through has actually caused many believers[q] to become even more courageous in the Lord and to be bold and passionate to preach the Word of God, all because of my chains. 15 It’s true that there are some who preach Christ out of competition and controversy, for they are jealous over the way God has used me. Many others have purer motives—they preach with grace and love filling their hearts,[r] 16 because they know I’ve been destined for the purpose of defending the revelation of God.[s] 17 Those who preach Christ with ambition and competition are insincere—they just want to add to the hardships of my imprisonment. 18 Yet in spite of all of this I am overjoyed! For what does it matter as long as Christ is being preached? If they preach him with mixed motives or with genuine love, the message of Christ is still being preached. And I will continue to rejoice 19 because I know that the lavish supply[t] of the Spirit of Jesus, the Anointed One, and your intercession for me will bring about my deliverance.[u] 20 No matter what, I will continue to hope and passionately cling[v] to Christ, so that he will be openly revealed through me before everyone’s eyes.[w] So I will not be ashamed![x] In my life or in my death, Christ will be magnified in me. 21 My true life is the Anointed One, and dying means gaining more of him. 22–24 So here’s my dilemma: Each day I live means bearing more fruit in my ministry; yet I fervently long to be liberated from this body[y] and joined fully to Christ. That would suit me fine, but the greatest advantage to you would be that I remain alive. So you can see why I’m torn between the two—I don’t know which I prefer. 25 Yet deep in my heart I’m confident that I will be spared so I can add to your joy and further strengthen and mature your faith.[z] 26 When I am freed to come to you, my deliverance will give you a reason to boast even more in Jesus Christ. 27 Whatever happens, keep living your lives based on the reality of the gospel of Christ, which reveals him to others. Then when I come to see you, or hear good reports of you, I’ll know that you stand united in one Spirit and one passion—celebrating together as conquerors[aa] in the faith of the gospel.[ab] 28 And then you will never be shaken or intimidated by the opposition that rises up against us, for your courage will only prove as a sure sign from God of their coming destruction and that you have found a new life. 29 For God has graciously given you the privilege not only to believe in Christ, but also to suffer for him. 30 For you have been called by him to endure the conflict in the same way I have endured it—for you know I’m not giving up. I had a private discussion recently with some friends regarding prophecy, and specifically when they don’t come to pass. While we didn’t all see eye to eye on every point, I thought it was an enlightening discussion, and I want to share some of what we reviewed with you all. First, we looked at why prophecies might fail. The most obvious reason is that the word wasn’t from God to begin with, and therefore had almost no chance of coming to pass in the first place. While this is a definite possibility, even if a word doesn’t originate from God, we have creative power and can speak forth words of life, calling things that have not yet existed into reality by faith. Thus, whether a word originates directly from God or not isn’t a guarantee whether it will happen or fail. Sometimes prophecies fail because there was demonic resistance. Actually, I personally think this is the primary reason they fail. When God speaks destiny to someone, the first thing the enemy wants to do is steal it so they can destroy it. If a prophetic word is given to us, it is so we can apply our faith and action to it, pray over the realities contained therein, and engage heaven to see it come to pass. It’s often not sufficient to let a word sit there and expect it to work all by itself. On the other hand, some words simply don’t need an action. A word that is encouraging or comforting often doesn’t need any response other than to receive God’s goodness in our hearts, but then, those words aren’t in danger of failing to happen either. If a word does require a response, our best answer is prayer. As we continue to pray over what God has shared with us, we empower angels to remove all demonic resistance against it, and in doing so we create room in the spirit for it to occur. On the other hand, failure to do this may result in the word failing. Does this mean the prophecy was false? Not necessarily, which is hard for some to hear. It could be a missed opportunity. Likewise, as mentioned above it is also possible that the word was false, and therefore didn’t come to pass. In these situations it means we might have failed to use adequate discernment in the first place. It’s a fact that people make mistakes, and the prophetic is no different. I have given people prophecies before that were obtuse-sounding but extremely accurate, and some that were very simple but I couldn’t have missed it further. On rare occasion I will give a word in a situation where I physically cannot correct myself as the person has already left, and I later think to myself “Wow, how did I miss that so badly?” It happens. We all must learn to walk in both grace and discernment. Grace for when people miss it, and discernment so we know when we are hearing from God and when a word just isn’t what it seems to be. I remember a while back when someone posted a very drastic prophetic word with specific dates. He had received confirmation after sign after sign after confirmation that everything he was hearing was correct. The dates came and went and literally nothing happened. He was pretty badly beaten down by other people when this happened, which I don’t think was kind or appropriate, but was also somewhat unavoidable. When prophecies have dates attached it can be that we either heard wrong, misinterpreted what we heard, or heard correctly and something changed. Prayer alters reality, and even in the face of doom and disaster we can pray and see things change. Does that mean the man heard correctly? In spite of the signs it is possible he missed it. It’s also equally possible he hit it square on and prayer changed the outcome, averting potential disaster. How do we know which it is? We don’t—which is why I believe it is always best to extend grace to people when they mess up. It could be me in that position someday, and I’d rather receive grace, so I should probably give it to others. We reap what we sow. One of the pitfalls of the prophetic is that there are so many variables. More often than not a prophecy is an invitation from God to engage with Him to see His will manifest on the earth. It’s rarely a statement of absolute that says what will or will not come to pass without fail, and more often it is a telling-forth of God’s highest plan and purpose. If we engage with God then those plans will probably occur, and if we do not adequately engage then we might miss out. We could engage heavily and the warfare might just be so intense that it still fails, or the situation could change in prayer and the whole scenarios just ends up very different than we originally thought. Or, we could sit on our laurels and do nothing and it still happens. When we hear the original word do we ignore it, or do we activate our faith? And how much of a difference does that even make? My purpose in making this as confusing as possible is to point out that there are a number of spiritual dynamics at play when a prophecy is given. It is rarely as cut-and-dry as some try to make it seem, and very rarely is a failed prophecy the result of a false prophet who intentionally misleads. More often than not it’s the result of any or all of the dynamics mentioned above and then some. Regardless of the reason that a word doesn’t come to pass, I encourage you to keep your head up and don’t let disappointment get the better of you. God has good plans for you to bring health, life, and abundance your way. He doesn’t cause bad things to happen to you, and He only works toward your good. Draw a bit nearer to Him today and listen with your own heart at the things He would share with you. Let Him minister to your soul in every place of disillusionment and frustration. Let Him lead you beside still waters and restore your soul. http://www.thekingsofeden.com/2018/03/when-prophecies-fail/ A song by King David composed after his escape from
the king when he pretended to be insane 1 Lord! I’m bursting with joy over what you’ve done for me! My lips are full of perpetual praise. 2 I’m boasting of you and all your works, so let all who are discouraged take heart. 3 Join me, everyone! Let’s praise the Lord together. Let’s make him famous! Let’s make his name glorious to all. 4 Listen to my testimony: I cried to God in my distress and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears! 5 Gaze upon him, join your life with his, and joy will come. Your faces will glisten with glory. You’ll never wear that shame-face again. 6 When I had nothing, desperate and defeated, I cried out to the Lord and he heard me, bringing his miracle-deliverance when I needed it most.[a] 7 The angel of the Lord stooped down to listen as I prayed, encircling me, empowering me, and showing me how to escape. He will do this for everyone who fears God. 8 Drink deeply of the pleasures of this God.[b] Experience for yourself the joyous mercies he gives to all who turn to hide themselves in him. 9 Worship in awe and wonder, all you who’ve been made holy! For all who fear him will feast with plenty. 10 Even the strong and the wealthy[c] grow weak and hungry, but those who passionately pursue the Lord will never lack any good thing. 11 Come, children of God, and listen to me. I’ll share the lesson I’ve learned of fearing the Lord.[d] 12–13 Do you want to live a long, good life, enjoying the beauty that fills each day? Then never speak a lie or allow wicked words to come from your mouth. 14 Keep turning your back on every sin, and make “peace” your life motto. Practice being at peace with everyone.[e] 15 The Lord sees all we do; he watches over his friends day and night. His godly ones receive the answers they seek whenever they cry out to him. 16 But the Lord has made up his mind to oppose evildoers and to wipe out even the memory of them from the face of the earth. 17 Yet when holy lovers of God cry out to him with all their hearts, the Lord will hear them and come to rescue them from all their troubles. 18 The Lord is close to all whose hearts are crushed by pain, and he is always ready to restore the repentant one. 19 Even when bad things happen to the good and godly ones, the Lord will save them and not let them be defeated by what they face. 20 God will be your bodyguard to protect you when trouble is near. Not one bone will be broken. 21 But the wicked commit slow suicide. For they hate and persecute the lovers of God. Make no mistake about it, God will hold them guilty and punish them; they will pay the penalty! 22 But the Lord has paid for the freedom of his servants, and he will freely pardon those who love him. He will declare them free and innocent when they turn to hide themselves in him. Footnotes:

1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. 2 And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God. These he carried off to the temple of his god in Babylonia[a] and put in the treasure house of his god. 3 Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, chief of his court officials, to bring into the king’s service some of the Israelites from the royal family and the nobility-- 4 young men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king’s palace. He was to teach them the language and literature of the Babylonians.[b] 5 The king assigned them a daily amount of food and wine from the king’s table. They were to be trained for three years, and after that they were to enter the king’s service. 6 Among those who were chosen were some from Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. 7 The chief official gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego. 8 But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way. 9 Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel, 10 but the official told Daniel, “I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned your[c] food and drink. Why should he see you looking worse than the other young men your age? The king would then have my head because of you.” 11 Daniel then said to the guard whom the chief official had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, 12 “Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. 13 Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.” 14 So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days. 15 At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food. 16 So the guard took away their choice food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead. 17 To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds. 18 At the end of the time set by the king to bring them into his service, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. 19 The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service. 20 In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom. 21 And Daniel remained there until the first year of King Cyrus. The past day and a half since Billy Graham’s passing, I have been asking the Lord what He wanted to say about the event, as I felt there was prophetic significance to it. I had something else planned for my weekly blog post, but held off on posting it as I wanted to hear clearly what God wanted to say, and to make sure that I wasn’t simply creating something out of my own mind. From the time I heard about his death, a scripture verse has been rolling around in my mind. “Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. (John 12:24). Mark Chironna prophesied years ago that God was getting ready to release a multitude of people to do the work of the Kingdom (link to clip at the end of the article), and Benny Hinn stated that the sign this would be so would be Billy Graham’s death. Personally I don’t like the idea of using one person’s death as a sign of something, because God is anti-death. Nevertheless, the contents of John 12:24 matches with the word Mark Chironna/Benny Hinn gave—that ultimately this event would bear much fruit, multiplying into many seeds from the one. The Lord impressed a second verse upon me as I was pondering and meditating on this matter: “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. Otherwise, the new piece will pull away from the old, making the tear worse. 22 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins. (Mark 2:21-22)” I believe this verse signifies that Reverend Graham’s death is the sign that an old wineskin has ended and a new one is being established. To be clear, it could sound dishonoring to Billy Graham to call him an “old wineskin”, but that isn’t where I am coming from, and is NOT what I am saying. Usually, wine gets better as it ages, so old wine isn’t bad—just different. Every year the same vine will produce different grapes, and those different grapes will be similar, but invariably have different flavor from the year prior. A new wineskin is designed for new wine not because it is better than the wine in years prior, but in order that the two would be compatible. Reverend Graham was born almost a full century ago, having died yesterday at age 99. It is a fact that God used him mightily to bring many people into the Kingdom. My parents took me to one of his crusades at the Phillies Stadium in Philadelphia when I was a kid, and while I don’t remember much of the event, I do recall that hundreds of people streamed onto the field when he gave an altar call for people to come and get born again. We honor him for what he has done and for the legacy he has left with us, but we also look forward into the new that God has for us. What I found most fascinating about the verses in Mark 2 is that I didn’t know the address of the verses when I first began to meditate on them, but when I looked them up I realized this section of verses began on 2:21—the same as the date of Billy Graham’s death, February 21! This, to me, is a clear prophetic confirmation that this is what the Lord is saying: Billy Graham’s passing is the sign of a new era.. We ought to spend some time praying for the Grahams as a family, as this must be a hard time for them, and even more so because it is so highly publicized. Let us pray that they would have grace and peace. We ought to pray and ask the Lord to help us step into the NEW that He has for us. As one era is drawn to a close and another era opens up, God is releasing new revelation to us as the Body of Christ. Finally, I encourage everyone to take some time to ask the Lord what new things He is releasing into our lives, and what this spiritual transition will look like for us personally. For the Pure and Shining One Set to the melody of “For the Feast of Harvest,”[a] by King David 1 Lord, your name is so great and powerful! People everywhere see your splendor. Your glorious majesty streams from the heavens, filling the earth with the fame of your name! 2 You have built a stronghold by the songs of babies. Strength rises up with the chorus of singing children. This kind of praise has the power to shut Satan’s mouth. Childlike worship will silence[b] the madness of those who oppose you. 3 Look at the splendor of your skies, your creative genius glowing in the heavens. When I gaze at your moon and your stars, mounted like jewels in their settings, I know you are the fascinating artist who fashioned it all! But when I look up and see such wonder and workmanship above, I have to ask you this question: 4 Compared to all this cosmic glory,[c] why would you bother with puny, mortal man or be infatuated with Adam’s sons? 5 Yet what honor you have given to men, created only a little lower than Elohim,[d] crowned like kings and queens[e] with glory and magnificence. 6 You have delegated to them mastery over all you have made, making everything subservient to their authority, placing earth itself under the feet of your image-bearers.[f] 7–8 All the created order and every living thing of the earth, sky, and sea-- the wildest beasts and all the sea creatures-- everything is in submission to Adam’s sons. 9 Lord, your name is so great and powerful. People everywhere see your majesty! What glory streams from the heavens, filling the earth with the fame of your name! Footnotes:

All rights reserved. thePassionTranslation.com James 1 The Passion Translation (TPT)Faith and Wisdom1 Greetings! My name is Jacob,[a] and I’m a love-slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ. I’m writing to all the twelve tribes of Israel who have been sown as seeds[b] among the nations.
2 My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! 3 For you know that when your faith is tested[c] it stirs up power within you to endure all things. 4 And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. 5 And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace.[d] 6 Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting that you will receive. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts the next. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. 7–8 When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable.[e] Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition? 9 The believer who is poor still has reasons to boast, for he has been placed on high. 10 But those who are rich should boast in how God has brought them low and humbled them, for all their earthly glory will one day fade away like a wildflower in the meadow. 11 For as the scorching heat of the sun causes the petals of the wildflower to fall off and lose its appearance of beauty,[f] so the rich in the midst of their pursuit of wealth will wither away. 12 If your faith remains strong, even while surrounded by life’s difficulties, you will continue to experience the untold blessings of God! True happiness comes as you pass the test with faith, and receive the victorious crown of life promised to every lover of God! 13 When you are tempted don’t ever say, “God is tempting me,” for God is incapable of being tempted by evil and he is never the source of temptation. 14 Instead it is each person’s own desires and thoughts that drag them into evil and lure[g] them away into darkness. 15 Evil desires give birth to evil actions. And when sin is fully mature it can murder you! 16 So my friends, don’t be fooled by your own desires! 17 Every gift[h] God freely gives us is good and perfect,[i] streaming down from the Father of lights,[j] who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness[k] and is never subject to change. 18 God was delighted[l] to give us birth by the truth of his infallible Word[m] so that we would fulfill his chosen destiny for us and become the favorite ones out of all his creation![n] 19 My dearest brothers and sisters, take this to heart: Be quick to listen,[o] but slow to speak. And be slow to become angry, 20 for human anger is never a legitimate tool to promote God’s righteous purpose.[p] 21 So this is why we abandon everything morally impure[q] and all forms of wicked conduct.[r] Instead, with a sensitive spirit[s] we absorb God’s Word, which has been implanted within our nature, for the Word of Life has power to continually deliver us.[t] 22 Don’t just listen to the Word of Truth and not respond to it, for that is the essence of self-deception. So always let his Word become like poetry written and fulfilled by your life![u] 23 If you listen to the Word and don’t live out the message you hear, you become like the person who looks in the mirror of the Word to discover the reflection of his face in the beginning.[v] 24 You perceive how God sees you in the mirror of the Word,[w] but then you go out and forget[x] your divine origin. 25 But those who set their gaze deeply into the perfecting law of liberty[y] are fascinated by and respond to the truth they hear and are strengthened by it—they experience God’s blessing in all that they do![z] 26 If someone believes they have a relationship with God but fails to guard his words then his heart is drifting away and his religion is shallow and empty.[aa] 27 True spirituality[ab] that is pure in the eyes of our Father God is to make a difference in the lives of the orphans,[ac] and widows in their troubles, and to refuse to be corrupted by the world’s values. His great love for us was pleasing to God, like an aroma of adoration—a sweet healing fragrance.[b]
3 And have nothing to do with sexual immorality, lust, or greed—for you are his holy ones and let no one be able to accuse you of them in any form. 4 Guard your speech. Forsake obscenities and worthless insults; these are nonsensical words that bring disgrace and are unnecessary. Instead, let worship fill your heart and spill out in your words. 5 For it has been made clear to you already that the kingdom of God cannot be accessed by anyone who is guilty of sexual sin, or who is impure or greedy—for greed is the essence of idolatry. How could they expect to have an inheritance in Christ’s kingdom while doing those things? Living in God’s Light6 Don’t be fooled by those who speak their empty words and deceptive teachings telling you otherwise. This is what brings God’s anger upon the rebellious! 7 Don’t listen to them or live like them at all. 8 Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with his revelation-light! 9 And the supernatural fruits of his light[c] will be seen in you—goodness, righteousness, and truth. 10 Then you will learn to choose what is beautiful to our Lord. 11 And don’t even associate with the servants of darkness because they have no fruit in them; instead, reveal truth to them. 12 The very things they do in secret are too vile and filthy to even mention. 13 Whatever the revelation-light exposes, it will also correct, and everything that reveals truth is light to the soul.[d] 14 This is why the Scripture says, “Arise, you sleeper! Rise up from the dead and the Anointed One will shine his light into you!”[e] Ephesians 4 The Passion Translation (TPT)Our Divine Calling4 As a prisoner of the Lord,[a] I plead with you to walk holy, in a way that is suitable to your high rank, given to you in your divine calling. 2 With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous[b] love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience. 3 Be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy Spirit among you in the bonds of peace, 4 being one body and one spirit, as you were all called into the same glorious hope of divine destiny.
5 For the Lord God is one, and so are we, for we share in one faith, one baptism, and one Father. 6 And He is the perfect Father who leads us all, works through us all, and lives in us all! The Grace-Gifts of Christ7 And he has generously given each one of us supernatural grace, according to the size of the gift of Christ. 8 This is why he says: “He ascends into the heavenly heights taking his many captured ones with him,[c] and gifts were given to men.”[d] 9 He “ascended” means that he returned to heaven, after he had first descended from the heights of heaven, even descending as far as the lowest parts of the earth. 10 The same one who descended is also the one who ascended above the heights of heaven, in order to begin the restoration and fulfillment[e] of all things. 11 And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists,[f] and some with grace to be pastors,[g] and some with grace to be teachers.[h] 12 And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ. 13 These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness in the faith, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God,[i] and finally we become one perfect man[j] with the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed in the abundance of Christ. 14 And then our immaturity will end! And we will not be easily shaken by trouble, nor led astray by novel teachings or by the false doctrines of deceivers[k] who teach clever lies. 15 But instead we will remain strong and always sincere in our love as we express the truth. All our direction and ministries will flow from Christ and lead us deeper into him, the anointed Head of his body, the church. 16 For his “body” has been formed in his image and is closely joined together and constantly connected as one. And every member has been given divine gifts to contribute to the growth of all; and as these gifts operate effectively throughout the whole body, we are built up and made perfect in love. Our New Life in Christ17 So with the wisdom given to me from the Lord I say: You should not live like the unbelievers around you who walk in their empty delusions.[l] 18 Their corrupted logic has been clouded because their hearts are so far from God—their blinded understanding and deep-seated moral darkness keeps them from the true knowledge of God. 19 Because of spiritual apathy, they surrender their lives to lewdness, impurity, and sexual obsession. 20 But this is not the way of life that Christ has unfolded within you. 21 If you have really experienced the Anointed One, and heard his truth, it will be seen in your life; for we know that the ultimate reality[m] is embodied in Jesus! 22 And he has taught you to let go of the lifestyle of the ancient man,[n] the old self - life, which was corrupted by sinful and deceitful desires that spring from delusions. 23 Now it’s time to be made new by every revelation that’s been given to you.[o] 24 And to be transformed as you embrace the glorious Christ-within as your new life and live in union with him! For God has re-created you all over again in his perfect righteousness, and you now belong to him in the realm of true holiness. 25 So discard every form of dishonesty and lying so that you will be known as one who always speaks the truth, for we all belong to one another. 26 But don’t let the passion of your emotions[p] lead you to sin! Don’t let anger control you or be fuel for revenge, not for even a day. 27 Don’t give the slanderous accuser, the Devil, an opportunity to manipulate you! 28 If any one of you has stolen from someone else, never do it again. Instead, be industrious, earning an honest living, and then you’ll have enough to bless those in need. 29 And never let ugly or hateful words come from your mouth, but instead let your words become beautiful gifts[q] that encourage others; do this by speaking words of grace to help them. 30 The Holy Spirit of God has sealed you in Jesus Christ until you experience your full salvation. So never grieve the Spirit of God or take for granted his holy influence in your life.[r] 31 Lay aside bitter words, temper tantrums, revenge, profanity, and insults. 32 But instead be kind[s] and affectionate toward one another. Has God graciously forgiven you? Then graciously forgive one another in the depths of Christ’s love. Footnotes:

All rights reserved. thePassionTranslation.com Jesus Rejected in Nazareth Afterward, Jesus left Capernaum[a] and returned with his disciples to Nazareth, his hometown. 2 On the Sabbath, he went to teach in the synagogue. Everyone who heard his teaching was overwhelmed with astonishment. They said among themselves, “What incredible wisdom has been given to him! Where did he receive such profound insights?[b] And what mighty miracles flow through his hands! 3 Isn’t this Mary’s son, the carpenter,[c] the brother of Jacob, Joseph,[d] Judah, and Simon? And don’t his sisters all live here in Nazareth?” And they took offense at him.
4 Jesus said to them, “A prophet is treated with honor everywhere except in his own hometown, among his relatives, and in his own house.” 5 He was unable to do any great miracle in Nazareth,[e] except to heal a few sick people by laying his hands upon them. 6 He was amazed at the depth of their unbelief![f] Then Jesus went out into the different villages and taught the people. Jesus Sends Out the Twelve Apostles7 Jesus gathered his twelve disciples and imparted to them his authority to cast out demons. Then he sent them out in pairs with these instructions: 8–9 “Take only your staff and the sandals on your feet—no bread, no knapsack, no extra garment, and no money.[g] 10 And whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave the area. 11 Whatever community does not welcome you or receive your message, leave it behind. And as you go, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”[h] 12 So they went out and preached publicly that everyone should repent. 13 They cast out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them. Death of John the Baptizer14 King Herod soon heard about Jesus, for the name of Jesus was on everyone’s lips. Some were even saying about him, “John the Baptizer has been raised from the dead, and that’s why miraculous powers flow from him!” 15 Others said, “No, he’s Elijah!” While others said, “He’s a prophet, like one of the prophets of old!” 16 When Herod heard what the people were saying, he concluded, “I beheaded John, and now he’s raised from the dead!” 17–18 For Herod had John arrested and thrown into prison for repeatedly rebuking him in public, saying, “You have no right to marry Herodias, the wife of your brother Philip! You are violating the law of God!”[i] 19 This infuriated Herodias, and she held a bitter grudge against him and wanted John executed. 20 But Herod both feared and stood in awe[j] of John and kept him safely in custody, because he was convinced that he was a righteous and holy man. Every time Herod heard John speak, it disturbed his soul, but he was drawn to him and enjoyed listening to his words. 21 But Herodias found her opportunity to have John killed—it was on the king’s birthday! Herod prepared a great banquet and invited all his officials, military commanders, and the leaders of the province of Galilee to celebrate with him on his birthday. 22 On the day of the feast, his stepdaughter, the daughter of Herodias,[k] came to honor the king with a beautiful dance, and she flattered him.[l] Her dancing greatly pleased the king and his guests, so he said to the girl, “You can ask me for anything you want and I will give it to you!” 23 And he repeated it in front of everyone, with a vow to complete his promise to her: “Anything you desire and it will be yours! I’ll even share my kingdom with you!” 24 She immediately left the room and said to her mother, “What should I ask for?” Her mother answered, “The head of John the Baptizer on a platter!” 25 So she hurried back to the king and made her request: “I want you to bring me the head of John the Baptizer on a platter—and I want it right now!” 26 Deeply grieved, the king regretted[m] his promise to her, but since he had made his vow in front of all his honored guests, he couldn’t deny her request. 27 So without delay the king ordered an executioner to bring John’s head, and he went and beheaded John in prison. 28 He brought his head on a platter and gave it to the girl, and the girl brought it to her mother. 29 When John’s followers heard what had happened, they came and removed his body and laid it in a tomb. The Divine Mystery Beloved friends, because of my love for Jesus Christ, I am now his prisoner for the sake of all of you who are not Jews, 2 so that you will hear the gospel that God has entrusted to me to share with you. 3 For this wonderful mystery, which I briefly described, was given to me by divine revelation, 4 so that whenever you read it you will be able to understand my revelation and insight into the secret mystery of the Messiah. 5 There has never been a generation that has been given the detailed understanding of this glorious and divine mystery until now. He kept it a secret until this generation. God is revealing it only now to his sacred apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit. 6 Here’s the secret: The gospel of grace has made you, non-Jewish believers, into coheirs of his promise through your union with him. And you have now become members of his body—one with the Anointed One! 7–8 I have been made a messenger of this wonderful news by the gift of grace that works through me. Even though I am the least significant of all his holy believers, this grace-gift was imparted when the manifestation of his power came upon me. Grace alone empowers me so that I can boldly preach this wonderful message to non-Jewish people, sharing with them the unfading,[a] inexhaustible riches of Christ, which are beyond comprehension. 9 My passion is to enlighten every person to this divine mystery. It was hidden for ages past until now, and kept a secret in the heart of God, the Creator of all. 10 The purpose of this was to unveil before every throne and rank of angelic orders in the heavenly realm God’s full and diverse wisdom revealed through the church.[b] 11 This perfectly wise plan was destined from eternal ages and fulfilled completely in our Lord Jesus Christ, so that now 12 we have boldness through him,[c] and free access as kings[d] before the Father because of our complete confidence in Christ’s faithfulness. 13 My dear friends, I pray that you will remain strong and not be discouraged or ashamed by all that I suffer on your behalf, for it is for your glory. Paul Prays for Love to Overflow14 So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, 15 the perfect Father of every father and child[e] in heaven and on the earth. 16 And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. 17 Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. 18–19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude[f] of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! 20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. 21 Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen! Footnotes:
The Passion Translation (TPT)The Passion Translation®. Copyright © 2017 by BroadStreet Publishing® Group, LLC. Used by permission. All rights reserved. thePassionTranslation.com Since May 11, 2017 I have been serving at the East Texas Glory Revival, I had a few dreams, that have shed light as to what God has in store, not only for Texas but how this move is going to touch the world.
I want to share briefly that Todd Bentley had a profound angelic visitation on Pentecost Sunday where he was given a silver trumpet and the date 7-10 which spoke of the day of atonement, and sound of Jubilee. "Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land." // Leviticus 25:9 Please watch Sunday night broadcast, it was such a powerful word! His encounter aligned my revelation and shed a greater light as to what I had received in dream, I am so grateful for his apostolic leadership. I was able to share briefly on the Fresh Fire Broadcast on Sunday night, but I wanted to put it on paper and unpack the revelation at greater length and thoroughness. The highlight and the point that bridged all these pieces together was the date July 10th, which was the date that Todd was given as to the birthing of the Sound Of Revival. This same date came to me by revelation through these two dreams I am about to share. Dream of Great Grace I was driving crossing over a bridge called Life, as I was crossing over I saw this enormous whirlwind coming out of a white cloud. I was stunned because there had not being any storm forecasted. This was a different storm, it was white and heavenly and out the cloud formed a very long whirling wind, it moved across the sky, and then the whirlwind touched the ground, and its trajectory was towards me. As it approached me, I could see its colors, white, gold, and purple, it came close and out of the wind came lightnings, the lightning touched my right hand and my hand became like an electrical coil, multiplying the lightnings as they bounce off my hand. When this happened I saw the words Tesla Coil. I knew this had to do with Nikola Tesla's Electrical Coil that functioned as an electricity conductor, simultaneously I also saw Psalms 90. “Let Your work appear to Your servants And Your majesty to their children. Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; And confirm for us the work of our hands; Yes, confirm the work of our hands.” // Psalms 90:16-17 NASBAs I came out of the dream, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "the whirlwind is Great Grace, and it is an angelic host that carries the substance of the Kingly anointing, provision in power and in resources, and also the King's jurisdiction. It is a banner that announces My intent and purpose as King." Immediately, I went to Acts 4 where Great Grace or Abundant Grace is mentioned. “And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.” // Acts 4:33 NASB I understood that God is releasing Great Grace to birth, empower, and position His people into the greater works, into the fulfillment of what He has appointed for this generation. Second Dream - The Purple Candle & Nikola Tesla In this dream an angelic messenger approached me, he reached into his pocket and gave a very big and wide purple candle. It felt very valuable and ancient. It had a gold plated bottom, as he put it in my hand, I could feel it's weight, I could also feel in a way a polarity as that of the magnetic field of the poles of the earth. It's hard to describe the candle because it was more of a sphere made of purple wax, and it also had a covering much like a canopy, in order to protect it. Also, it's fragrance was intoxicating, it was familiar to me, I knew it was the fragrance of the Lord. It had an inscription upon the gold plate, it read- "1899-1900" I new what the inscription meant. In the turn of the century Nikola Tesla conducted experiments in Colorado Springs. "The Tesla Experimental Station[3] was a Colorado Springs laboratory built in 1899 by inventor Nikola Tesla and used that year for his study of the use of high-voltage, high-frequency electricity in wireless power transmission." Wikipedia I asked the messenger in the dream where he had found the candle, he said, "I found it in Arkansas." Interpretation A lot of times states in my dreams are significant because of what the name means. Arkansas means southern wind. I understood that the candle symbolized the light of illumination and revelation. I understood that it spoke of the symbol of a century, the turning of an age, and of a man who carried such prophetic vision of the future, and who ventured beyond every limit. I understood that there was a polar shift of that of a northern wind to that of a southern wind, which is a wind of favor and blessing. 7/10 July 10th As I processed all this revelation, I heard the Lord say, look up Nikola Tesla's Birthday, it is significant. I did, and found that his birthday is July 10th- I understood that July 10th would be the marking point of a new birth. A download of revelation flooded me, and I remembered that Tesla was said to have been born at midnight on July 10th in the middle of a very intense storm. His mother said, he would be a son of light, because the lightning was so intense during the storm. I believe that Tesla is a sign in my dreams, a sign for God's birthing of His sons of light, out of the roar of a mighty storm. Resurrection power is stirring, and moving like electricity all around, heaven is moving and a new sound is being heard. Sound Nikola Tesla also invented the radio, though most credit it to Marconi, the courts actually pronounced the credit to Tesla, but this was after his death. Again, I want emphasize the prophetic significance of this symbol of Tesla in the realm of sound. Radio is all about frequency, about sound. It facilitated for the sound to carry and to communicate and connect people all around the world. It connected people to a sound. I believe all this brings to light that God is birthing a new sound of resurrection power, charged with vision of the future, full of hope, full of eternity, charged with innovation, charged with creativity, with the ability to reproduce and multiply, and bearing the witness of His infinite power and might. Bearing the witness of the resurrection power of Christ. He has established His banner of Great Grace upon it. There is a movement of light and sound that is being birthed, and it is God born and breathed. May His Light Shine.Sincerely, -- Fiorella Giordano http://eighthocean.org/news/id-magni-doloribus Ephesians 1 The Passion Translation (TPT)Paul’s Introduction1 Dear friends,
My name is Paul, and I was chosen by God to be an apostle of Jesus, the Messiah. 2 I’m writing this letter to all the devoted believers[a] who have been made holy[b] by being one with Jesus, the Anointed One. May God himself, the heavenly Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, release grace over you and impart total well-being[c] into your lives. Our Sonship and the Father’s Plan3 Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him[d] with all our hearts! 4 And he chose us to be his very own, joining us to himself even before he laid the foundation of the universe![e] Because of his great love, he ordained[f] us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence. 5–6 For it was always in his perfect plan[g] to adopt[h] us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace[i]—for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure! 7 Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation[j] of our sins—all because of the cascading riches[k] of his grace. 8 This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us,[l] releasing within us all forms of wisdom and practical understanding. 9 And through the revelation of the Anointed One, he unveiled his secret desires to us—the hidden mystery of his long-range plan, which he was delighted to implement from the very beginning of time. 10 And because of God’s unfailing purpose, this detailed plan will reign supreme through every period of time until the fulfillment of all the ages finally reaches its climax—when God makes all things new[m] in all of heaven and earth through Jesus Christ. 11 Through our union with Christ we too have been claimed by God as his own inheritance.[n] Before we were even born, he gave us our destiny;[o] that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in his heart. 12 God’s purpose was that we Jews, who were the first to long for the messianic hope, would be the first to believe in the Anointed One and bring great praise and glory to God! 13 And because of him, when you who are not Jews heard the revelation[p] of truth, you believed in the wonderful news of salvation. Now we have been stamped with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit.[q] 14 He is given to us like an engagement ring[r] is given to a bride, as the first installment of what’s coming! He is our hope-promise of a future inheritance[s] which seals us until we have all of redemption’s promises and experience complete freedom—all for the supreme glory and honor of God! Paul Prays for the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation15 Because of this, since I first heard about your strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and your tender love toward all his devoted ones, 16 my heart is always full and overflowing with thanks to God for you as I constantly remember you in my prayers.[t] 17 I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation[u] to know him through your deepening intimacy with him. 18 I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination,[v] flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling[w]—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones! 19 I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power 20 that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him[x] to the place of highest honor and supreme authority[y] in the heavenly realm! 21 And now he is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised,[z] not only in this age,[aa] but in the age that is coming![ab] 22 And he alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church. God has put everything beneath the authority of Jesus Christ[ac] and has given him the highest rank above all others. 23 And now we, his church, are his body on the earth and that which fills him who is being filled by it![ad] Footnotes:

The Passion Translation (TPT)Wisdom Will Protect You When you’ve been invited to dine with a very important leader, consider your manners and keep in mind who you’re with. 2 Be careful to curb your appetite and catch yourself before you fall into the trap of wanting all you see.[a] 3 Don’t crave their delicacies, for they may have another motive in having you sit at their table. 4 Don’t compare yourself to the rich.[b] Surrender your selfish ambition and evaluate them properly. 5 For no sooner do you start counting your wealth than it sprouts wings and flies away like an eagle in the sky-- here today, gone tomorrow! 6 Be sensible when you dine with a stingy man[c] and don’t eat more than you should.[d] 7 For as he thinks within himself, so is he.[e] He will grudgingly say, “Go ahead and eat all you want,” but in his heart he resents the fact that he has to pay for your meal. 8 You’ll be sorry you ate anything at all,[f] and all your compliments will be wasted. 9 A rebellious fool will despise your wise advice, so don’t even waste your time—save your breath! 10 Never move a long-standing boundary line or attempt to take land that belongs to the fatherless. 11 For they have a mighty protector, a loving redeemer,[g] who watches over them, and he will stand up for their cause. 12 Pay close attention to the teaching that corrects you, and open your heart to every word of instruction. 13 Don’t withhold appropriate discipline from your child. Go ahead and punish him when he needs it.[h] Don’t worry—it won’t kill him! 14 A good spanking could be the very thing that teaches him a lifelong lesson![i] 15 My beloved child, when your heart is full of wisdom, my heart is full of gladness. 16 And when you speak anointed words,[j] we are speaking mouth to mouth![k] 17 Don’t allow the actions of evil men to cause you to burn with anger.[l] Instead, burn with unrelenting passion as you worship God in holy awe. 18 Your future is bright and filled with a living hope that will never fade away. 19 As you listen to me, my beloved child, you will grow in wisdom and your heart will be drawn into understanding, which will empower you to make right decisions.[m] 20 Don’t live in the excesses of drunkenness or gluttony, or waste your life away by partying all the time,[n] 21 because drunkards and gluttons sleep their lives away and end up broke! 22 Give respect to your father and mother, for without them you wouldn’t even be here. And don’t neglect them when they grow old. 23 Embrace the truth[o] and hold it close. Don’t let go of wisdom, instruction, and life-giving understanding. 24 When a father observes his child living in godliness, he is ecstatic with joy—nothing makes him prouder! 25 So may your father’s heart burst with joy and your mother’s soul be filled with gladness because of you. 26 My son, give me your heart and embrace fully what I’m about to tell you. 27 Stay far away from prostitutes and you’ll stay far away from the pit of destruction. For sleeping with a promiscuous woman is like falling into a trap that you’ll never be able to escape! 28 Like a robber hiding in the shadows she’s waiting to claim another victim-- another husband unfaithful to his wife. 29 Who has anguish? Who has bitter sorrow? Who constantly complains and argues? Who stumbles and falls and hurts himself? Who’s the one with bloodshot eyes? 30 It’s the one who drinks too much and is always looking for a brew. Make sure it’s never you! 31 And don’t be drunk with wine[p] but be known as one who enjoys the company of the lovers of God,[q] 32 For drunkenness brings the sting of a serpent, like the fangs of a viper[r] spreading poison into your soul. 33 It will make you hallucinate, mumble, and speak words that are perverse. 34 You’ll be like a seasick sailor being tossed to and fro, dizzy and out of your mind. 35 You’ll awake only to say, “What hit me? I feel like I’ve been run over by a truck!” Yet off you’ll go, looking for another drink! Footnotes:
The Passion Translation (TPT)The Passion Translation®. Copyright © 2017 by BroadStreet Publishing® Group, LLC. Used by permission. All rights reserved. thePassionTranslation.com Evangelist Billy Graham died today at the age of 99. Just as his life had great significance for God’s kingdom, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to millions around the world, his death also has great significance, fulfilling a powerful prophecy given by Prophet Mark Chirona and Evangelist Benny Hinn.
In the 3-minute video shown below, Mark Chirona delivered this prophecy in 2012 while appearing as a guest on the Trinity broadcasting network. Mark Chironna is uniquely gifted to train, mobilize, and ignite transformation in God’s people. Here is the transcript from the video. We are coming into perhaps the most significant day in church history. There are a number of things that are going to begin to converge. We talked about (the book of) Luke and the signs. There is going to be a convergence of the signs. With it there is going to be an acceleration and they are all going to overlap. When that happens, there is a company of people that have been hidden in God for a season but they are coming out of hiding and they are going to stand in the courts of Pharaoh. Like Moses did (Exodus 7-12) and Elijah did (1 Kings 18:20-40), they are going to challenge the spirits. They are going to challenge the powers of Egypt. The earth is going to see a 21st century manifestation of the demonstration of the Spirit, not from one or two, but from a many membered body. God is going to have the church of His dreams. All of the institutionalizing that we have done to the church, all the things we have done to try to make it our thing instead of God’s thing, God has had the church under wraps for 2,000 years. Maybe that’s why there are 2,000 cubits between where this generation is and the ark because God wants a church that has been in hiding and prepared for power by severe testing, severe trial, severe tribulation in every single season and they feel like they are not going to be used and it is too late and it is all over. That is the company that is prepared for power. They’ve been like John the Baptist in the wilderness eating locusts and wild honey, strange food. They have had to learn to glean from the word when they were just getting little pious platitudes from preachers all around the country. They are being weaned away from everything that is contradictory to the powerful truth of the word of God. That company is coming out of hiding. They are going to cross Jordan. They are going to move into a manifestation of power where there will not just be power on one or two, but there is going to be power on multiplied thousands and thousands. As soon as Mark Chirona finished delivering that word, Evangelist Benny Hinn added this prophesy, “The sign will be Billy Graham’s death. You are talking about a people in hiding, just like Elijah was in hiding, but when he came out, he challenged the prophets of Baal. And the Lord said to me in 1989, when Oral Roberts and Billy Graham go home, it will be the key, it will be the sign of the beginning of the greatest revival. Oral is home and Billy is about to go home, and when he does, I’m telling you, the whole Church, get ready.” Mark Chirona and Benny Hinn aren’t the only ones who have seen this great revival coming. They are only confirming what prophets of previous generations saw and recorded in the Bible. Here’s how Isaiah described it. 1 “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. 2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you. 3 “Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. 4 “Lift up your eyes round about and see; they all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from afar, and your daughters will be carried in the arms. 5 “Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will thrill and rejoice; because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, the wealth of the nations will come to you. (Isaiah 60:1-5) Here’s how the prophet Amos described it. “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “When the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; when the mountains will drip sweet wine and all the hills will be dissolved. (Amos 9:13) The Lord Jesus also prophesied about it in the parable of the wheat and tares (Matthew 13:24-30). Just as the natural harvest season is the time when every seed sown comes to maturity, the same is happening now in the spiritual realm. Every seed sown through the generations of history is now coming to maturity. The sons of darkness are coming to maturity at the same time that the sons of light are coming to maturity. Billy Graham’s death signifies the days of Church as we have known it are over. We have officially entered the harvest season, the days of Elijah, the days of the greatest revival in history. Author: James Bailey https://z3news.com/w/billy-grahams-death-prophetic-sign-beginning-greatest-revival/ The Passion Translation (TPT)Nicodemus Now there was a prominent religious leader among the Jews named Nicodemus,[a] who was part of the sect called the Pharisees and a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 One night he discreetly came to Jesus and said, “Master, we know that you are a teacher from God, for no one performs the miracle signs that you do, unless God’s power is with him.”
3 Jesus answered, “Nicodemus, listen to this eternal truth: Before a person can perceive God’s kingdom realm, they must first experience a rebirth.”[b] 4 Nicodemus said, “Rebirth? How can a gray-headed man be reborn? It’s impossible for a man to go back into the womb a second time and be reborn!” 5 Jesus answered, “I speak an eternal truth: Unless you are born of water[c] and Spirit-wind, you will never enter God’s kingdom realm. 6 For the natural realm can only give birth to things that are natural, but the spiritual realm gives birth to supernatural life! 7 “You shouldn’t be amazed by my statement,[d] ‘You must be born from above!’[e] 8 For the Spirit-wind blows as it chooses. You can hear its sound,[f] but you don’t know where it came from or where it’s going. So it is within the hearts of those who are Spirit-born!”[g] 9 Then Nicodemus replied, “But I don’t understand, what do you mean? How does this happen?” 10 Jesus answered, “Nicodemus, aren’t you the respected teacher in Israel, and yet you don’t understand this revelation? 11 I speak eternal truths about things I know, things I’ve seen and experienced—and still you don’t accept what I reveal. 12 If you’re unable to understand and believe what I’ve told you about the natural realm, what will you do when I begin to unveil the heavenly realm? 13 No one has risen into the heavenly realm except the Son of Man who also exists in heaven.”[h] God’s Love for Everyone14 “And just as Moses in the desert lifted up the brass replica of a snake on a pole for all the people to see and be healed,[i] so the Son of Man is ready to be lifted up, 15 so that those who truly believe in him[j] will not perish but be given eternal life. 16 For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift.[k] So now everyone who believes in him[l] will never perish but experience everlasting life. 17 “God did not send his Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it![m] 18 So now there is no longer any condemnation for those who believe in him, but the unbeliever already lives under condemnation because they do not believe in the name of God’s beloved Son.[n] 19 And here is the basis for their judgment: The Light of God has now come into the world, but the hearts of people love their darkness more than the Light, because they want the darkness to conceal their evil. 20 So the wicked[o] hate the Light and try to hide from it, for their lives are fully exposed in the Light. 21 But those who love the truth[p] will come out into the Light and welcome its exposure, for the Light will reveal that their fruitful works were produced by God.”[q] Footnotes:

Seeing in the spirit is not as hard as people think. The fact is that most people *already* see in the spirit, and simply don’t realize it. Certainly there are those who have visions more than others, but it is a skill like any other, and anyone can learn how. The following are ways I have found helpful to learn and grow in this area: 6 keys to seeing in the spirit. 1. Believe What You See One of the most common things people do when they have a vision is doubt it—and doubt it immediately. I do believe the demonic help with this by casting doubt into the situation, but when we think we see something, we have to give it a chance. Everyone has those double-take moments where they look at something and look again because of what they *think they saw*. Usually it ends up being something benign, like a person standing there on second glance is a coat hanging on a hook, or a strange looking animal is actually a gnarled tree stump. Here’s a little secret: whatever you thought you saw the first time, you *did* see—it was just a spiritual reality, so when you looked the second time, with your natural eyes, you didn’t see it anymore. Whether a double-take or a vision in your mind’s eye, trust that you saw what you think you saw, and run with the revelation long enough to test it out and give it a chance. If you do this, you will miss far less of what you are being shown. – double-take for a reason, yes you actually saw it. Confidence. 2. Look In the book of Ezekiel, at the beginning of the book it often says “I looked and I saw. . . ” Later on it has more “I saw”. The key here is that he began by looking for things, and eventually he grew to a point where he would see whether he was looking or not. It is possible to train yourself to see in the spirit, and trying to do so will generally yield better results more frequently. Oftentimes people are waiting for visions to happen to them. Go and happen to the vision. 3. Practice Like any skill, practice makes one improve significantly. When I first began to learn how to see in the spirit, I would take opportunities to practice this prophetic gift. I would use almost any excuse to prophesy over people to practice getting visions, and I would spend time in worship and sitting in God’s presence simply to have more encounters. Partly it was to enjoy Him, but another part of it was to hone my ability to see. Find opportunities to practice seeing in the spirit, then go forward with expectation. 4. Engage The Power Of Testimonies Talk to (and read about) encounters other people have had. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). When we hear the stories of others and their encounters, often they can help activate the gifts inside us and stir our faith to expect to have our own encounters. 5. Have Expectation Expect visions. Expect supernatural encounters. Nothing about anyone else is *more* special than you, so if it can happen to someone else, it *will* happen to you. You simply need to expect that it will, and by doing so engage the power of faith. 6. Receive Understand this is an innate ability inherent within your makeup. Simply receive that truth. Don’t get yourself all worked up, striving to try to earn or hunt for this gift. I wish I had known this back when I first learned to see in the spirit. I spent a lot of time and energy trying to hunt down this spiritual gift because I didn’t understand that *I already had it.* I realized years later that I have seen in the spirit almost my entire life, and just didn’t know it! It can be helpful at times to have others help activate that gift, but the fact is that the Holy Spirit, the Giver of the gifts, already lives in you. You already have whatever you need, and don’t need someone else to make it “work” for you. Just receive this truth by faith, and walk it out with expectation! Seeing in the spirit is not as hard as people think. The fact is that most people *already* see in the spirit, and simply don’t realize it. Certainly there are those who have visions more than others, but it is a skill like any other, and anyone can learn how.
