There are plenty of stories of artificial intelligence gone wrong. But recent reports from owners of Amazon Alexa devices are being called ‘bone chillingly creepy.’ Some users say their Alexa-enabled gadgets start laughing totally unprompted. One user reportedly tried to turn the lights off in their home but Alexa repeatedly turned the lights back on, eventually uttering an ‘evil laugh,’ according to BuzzFeed. Another Echo Dot owner said they told Alexa to turn off their alarm in the morning and she responded by letting out a ‘witch-like’ laugh.

TruNews is banned from posting new video content to the video-sharing platform for two weeks over a four-year-old podcast.
Mar 12 Citing a video uploaded to its platform nearly four years ago, YouTube has imposed a two-week ban on the TruNews video channel. According to a notice from the Google-owned video hosting service, the March 13, 2014, podcast titled “Wolfgang Halbig ‘Sandy Hook Deception’” was “flagged for review” and deemed a violation of its “Community Guidelines.” Halbig has been questioning the official narrative of the Sandy Hook school shooting, and TruNews reported on his efforts to get to the truth of the matter. YouTube didn’t explain why it allowed the video to remain on its platform for nearly four years, but did say the video contained “predatory behavior, stalking, threats, harassment, bullying, and intimidation.” The social media giant’s explanation also didn’t specify what in the video was deemed offensive, or how it violated the Community Guidelines. Instead, its notice merely stated: “We take this issue seriously and there are not excuses for such behavior. We remove comments, videos, or posts where the main aim is to maliciously harass or attack another user. If you’re not sure whether or not your content crosses the line, we ask that you not post it … “This is the second strike applied to your account within three months. As a result, you’re unable to post new content to YouTube for two weeks. If there are no further issues, the ability to upload will be automatically restored after this two-week period.” In recent weeks, YouTube has been shutting down conservative and Christian channels on its platform, censoring out viewpoints it disagrees with or finds offensive. TruNews has dedicated a number of recent shows to these developments. TruNews host Rick Wiles added: “YouTube is so desperate to purge free speech that its Thought Police are now combing through old media files searching for anything that offends their precious little snowflake minds. Wow! A 4-year-old TruNews episode didn’t offend YouTube’s censors in 2014, but they are offended in 2018. “Who cares what YouTube censors think about what we say and believe? TruNews is older than YouTube. We were successful long before YouTube was invented. We will remain successful and free long after YouTube disappears from the digital landscape. “I saw this day coming many years ago and prepared for it. Flowing Streams Church invested several years and much money building our own platform, Prazor, for the Body of Christ. We will not censor Bible-believing Christians who post content on our platform. It will be unveiled in months. Just in time to escape YouTube’s Thought Police.” TruNews’ daily video programming remains available online through its website at: https://www.trunews.com. 03-12-2018 Photo Credit: New Life Covenant Church via Facebook
By Kayla Root Photo Credit: New Life Covenant Church via Facebook New Life Covenant Church in Chicago, Illinois is one of the fastest growing churches in the city and known for going above and beyond in reaching out to the community. In a recent Facebook video that's gone viral gaining six million views, the church's Pastor Rev. Wilfredo De Jesús is seen handing out big blessings to an unexpected guest. The pastor ordered a pizza during service and when the pizza delivery woman arrived, he brought her on stage and gave her a tip she'll likely never forget. The post reads, "For the month of February, we have been challenging our church to honor people. So Pastor Wilfredo De Jesús ordered a pizza with intentions of surprising the delivery person. She walked on stage and was clueless of what was going on." In the video, the pastor asks the woman how much she usually receives for a tip during each delivery and then tells her, "I've been teaching our church about honoring people, just ordinary people who work hard, so we wanted to do that for you." "I haven't known you for long," De Jesús says to her. "But I know God knows you, and He loves you." In an emotional series of events, he tells her to hold out her hand and proceeds to lay $100 in cash on her palm. Then invites anyone in the congregation who wants to contribute to her "tip" up onto the stage. It's not long before her hand is overflowing with cash and the woman breaks down in tears.
